Kitchen Remodeling

Whether you're updating a dated galley or opening up your entire first floor, we manage the full remodel from demo to final walk-through — cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing rough-ins, and electrical coordination. Every kitchen is designed for how your family actually lives. Most are completed in three to five weeks.

02 · Baths

Bathroom Remodeling

One of the highest-return projects a homeowner can make — and one of the easiest to botch. We handle waterproofing, tile, vanities, fixtures, and accessibility mods with the same care whether it's a 40-square-foot powder room or a full master suite. Proper cement board and membrane behind every tile wall, because shortcuts there cause expensive problems later.

03 · Additions

Room Additions

Need more room but don't want to move? A properly permitted addition adds real square footage and real value. We manage design coordination, the city permit process, foundation, framing, insulation, drywall, and finish — built to match your existing home's architecture so it looks like it was always there. We know Torrance building department requirements and keep your project on schedule.

04 · Flooring

Flooring Installation

Floors take more abuse than any other surface in your home, which is why installation quality matters as much as material. We install hardwood, LVP, porcelain tile, and natural stone with proper subfloor prep — because a beautiful floor over a bad substrate will creak, crack, and fail. Most whole-home flooring projects finish in two to four days.

05 · Painting

Interior & Exterior Painting

Most painting fails at the prep stage — skipped caulk, unsanded corners, wrong primer. We treat paint as a finish trade, not an afterthought, which means full surface prep before a drop of color. South Bay coastal air is tough on finishes, so we select salt-air-rated products and apply them correctly. The result is a coat that bonds, holds color, and doesn't peel in eighteen months.

General Home Improvements

Not every project fits a neat category — and that's where our general trade skills shine. Drywall repair and texture matching, interior doors, window casing, crown molding, closet builds, fence repairs, and skilled punch-list work most contractors won't touch. If you've got a list that's been sitting for months, call Vando. We show up, communicate, and finish.
